After the excellent reports we received for the new venue in 2006, we were better able to utilise the increased free space for the 2007 Golden Casket Variety Special Children’s Christmas Party held at the Ryan Community
Centre and the playing fields of Ryan Catholic College.

The many hundreds of invited children and their families thoroughly enjoyed
the greater number of amusement rides and activities with the baby animal
farm being a stand out favourite.

The stage show kept the mood festive as the children waited for Santa to
arrive and then for their turn to enter the toy room and receive their gifts.

As the warm day cooled into a beautiful, tropical evening, many families
chose to stay put on their picnic blankets and enjoy the show, food and
drinks.
