EVERYONE loves the Palmerston Shopping Centre Variety Special Children’s Christmas Party! Our entertainers all beg to come back to Darwin and this year we caught some more people in the magic – Ronald McDonald and long-term “Neighbours” star Alan Fletcher (“Dr Karl Kennedy”).

The Territorians are such fun-loving, generous people that the pavilion is always filled with laughter as the children enjoy the show, the rides and, of course, the toy room. And the volunteers are just as joyous as they go about their tasks … the Mayor of Palmerston, Robert Macleod, was still smiling even as he mopped the floor!

As for the group on stage doing the Macarena .. well, we’re expecting it to go viral on You Tube!
