The queue of happy smiling faces started early for entry into the air-conditioned Pavilion at the Darwin Showgrounds - the venue for this great event. We would like to think it was due to the expectation of the fun to be had inside and not just a desire to escape the Northern Territory heat!!

With extra amusement rides this year, the children enjoyed the jumping
castles but the biggest hit was the rock climb, which operators said, had its busiest period ever.

Along with the great activities, the children were entertained happily awaiting Santa’s arrival. All enjoyed the refreshments, food and ice cream that were provided on the day.

Off course, Santa’s arrival meant all the invited children’s wait for their entry
into the toy room was over. It was wonderful to see that every face beamed
with excitement on their departure from the toy room with their bag full of toys.
