There was fabulous entertainment for the hundreds of families who attended
the 2007 Golden Casket Variety Special Children’s Christmas Party in Cairns.

Ronald McDonald and his friends made another appearance and they
were joined by some real favourites from “Neighbours” - Ben Lawson (“Frazer Yeats”), David Hoflin (“Oliver Barnes”) and Jane Hall (“Rebecca Napier”).
Ben, David and Jane happily posed for photos, signed autographs and
helped hand out gifts in the toy room. In addition, local talent The Bopstars
had the audience well and truly in the mood with a great selection of
Christmas Carols.

For the first time in this venue, the whole toy display was visible to the crowd from the moment they entered the Pavilion. There were many excited ‘window shoppers’ eagerly anticipating which of the wonderful gifts they would later receive from Santa.
